Our Workforce

Creative Art Supplies partners with the Vancouver School Districts Special Services Department's GATE program and the Washington State School for the Blind to offer vocational training, job coaching and school to work opportunities for students.

We help train and find jobs for developmentally delayed adults and teens and tailor our jobs to find everyone's strength. We offer one on one training and design special opportunities for disadvantaged citizens. As a growing company we are looking for more and more ways of helping people in need.
Meet Carissa Brown (above), a GATE graduate and now our superb supervisor of the Vancouver School District's GATE Program. Carissa helps determine which job is best suited for each student and often checks their work. She has done almost every type of piecework and is our pro!
Megan (above) is hard at work folding paper strips and getting them ready for you to use in your weavings and constructions.
